Bookclub founding committee
Don’t just join the Bookclub. Help build it.
Since 2020, the Bookclub has kept readers talking and put free books in people’s hands. Now it is relaunching as a program of Floating Freedom Foundation, and its founding committee will decide what it becomes.
The work
What the founding committee will decide.
Direction, priorities, initiatives, and how the money is spent. The Bookclub has its own program account. Members help raise funds for it and decide together how to use them, within the Foundation’s financial oversight.
- Book selection and discussion guides
- Reading events and gatherings
- Book drives, exchanges, and free distribution
- Partnerships with libraries, schools, masjids, and bookstores
- Youth and family engagement
- Communications and social media
- Fundraising for the Bookclub’s program account
