Floating Freedom Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 33-2610751. This policy explains what information we collect through floatingfreedom.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
We collect what you choose to share when you fill out a form on this site, such as an interest form, a volunteer or board application, or a contact message. That usually includes your name, email address, and whatever you write in the form. Board and committee applications may also ask about your experience, skills, and availability.
Donations
Donations are processed by Zeffy, a third-party platform. We do not see or store your full payment details. Zeffy shares your name, email, and gift information with us so we can thank you and provide tax receipts. Zeffy’s own privacy policy governs how it handles your data.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security tools record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use it to keep the site secure and working. We do not sell this data or use it to build advertising profiles.
How we use your information

- To share updates about programs you asked to hear about.
- To process and acknowledge donations.
- To keep records required of a nonprofit organization.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site and our programs, such as our host, email delivery service, and donation platform, or when the law requires it. Application details are seen only by the people responsible for reviewing them.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as we need them for the purpose you shared them for, and donation records as long as tax and nonprofit rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates, by writing to info@floatingfreedom.org. Every update email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Youth programs will collect information only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
